HMS Permits

Just got our confirmation number from @noaafisheries on last weeks first swordfish for @ronyagur SWO 06 12-2018 FL 2657. The fish had a 62.5 inch short length with an estimated age of 4 years, estimated weight of 130lbs. Remember you are required by law to have a HMS Permit to harvest swordfish & to report all harvested HMS species. Failure to report your catch hurts our industry. If you are selling or buying swordfish on the black market you are poaching, putting the public’s health at risk & stealing from permitted, law abiding American commercial & recreational fishermen, seafood market owners, restaurateurs & their employees. @thebillfishfoundation @joinigfa @pelagicgear #swordfish #reported#noaafisheries #law #quota #fish #fishing #sustainableharvest#highlymigratoryspecies #fishingboat #southflorida #conservation#leadership #ethics #integrity #pelagicworldwide #professional#confirmed
